Thanksgiving Turkey Cheese Ball with Pretzel Feathers

16 oz cream cheese, softened 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (or 1 oz) 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional) 1/4 cup chopped green onions 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional for coating) Pretzel rods (for feathers) Candy eyes Baby carrot (for beak) Red bell pepper (for wattle) Crackers and extra pretzels for serving

In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, crumbled bacon (if using), and chopped green onions until well combined.

Shape the mixture into a ball and refrigerate for at least one hour to firm up. Once chilled, roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans if desired for texture and flavor.

Place the cheese ball on a serving platter. Press pretzel rods into the back of the cheese ball to resemble turkey feathers, using as many as you'd like for fullness.

Add two candy eyes to the front, press a small piece of baby carrot into the cheese ball to form a beak,

and attach a small strip of red bell pepper beside the beak for the wattle. Serve with crackers and additional pretzels. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
