Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare a 9x13-inch pan. Mix eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder, and vanilla until smooth. Pour into pan and bake 30 minutes.

Let the cake cool completely in the pan. Then use a fork or skewer to poke holes all over the surface to allow milk mixture to soak in evenly.

Whisk together sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk. This "tres leches" blend is the key to the cake’s rich moisture.

Slowly pour the milk mixture over the cake. Let it soak for at least 3 hours or overnight in the fridge for the best texture and flavor.

Whip heavy cream with a bit of sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Spread evenly over the soaked cake just before serving.
